checklist to be a perfect person:
blonde ,smooth hair (check)
huge colourful eyes with long lashes (check)
small tiny nose (check)
COLOSSAL lips (check)
tall (check)
perfect figure (check)
gr8 outfits (check)
perfect hot boyfriend + car + gr8 house at the suburbs (check)
and on and on.........we could go on with BARBIE's perfection........but lets get one thing straight, is this really what beauty is all about, the dream that everyone wants to make real, the goal everyone seeks to attain?
is this the image of happiness, THIS IS HOW U SHOULD LOOK LIKE and THOSE ARE THE MATERIALS U NEED TO HAVE to actually feel content and satisfied and popular?
in today's world we know how THE MEDIA tries to turn our perspective on life upside down, and it does nothing but to produce twits, and erase the real picture...
but they do not only target adults, they target 3+ kids now, by these small sized modules "barbie", and their songs reflecting perfection.......( as if)
and you can see them selling the perfect life in a small sized cartoon costing 30$, if not more.
its so sad to see how happiness can be so materialized and defaulted by those absurd ideas, a person CAN be happy without necessarily looking like a top model, or a millionaire.........
i once knew a woman who smiled though she only had one dress, she did not need the MAN, the HOUSE, or the MONEY........
i hope we could all find our content and peace within ourselves, because thats where happiness really lies in..... within us
